On Sunday I attended the vocal recital of Czech music presented in Binghamton University’s Anderson Center Chamber Hall by soprano Mary Burgess, baritone Timothy Lefebvre and pianist John Cheek. Only one familiar piece on the program (Dvorak’s “Song to the Moon” from his opera Rusalka) but lovely, tuneful music sung wonderfully. A fine way to spend the afternoon — there should have been a much larger crowd to hear it.
