Did you catch a movie or a concert? Were you visiting a gallery or museum? Was there a smokin’ hot band playing at the Halloween party you attended?
Please share what you did in the arts this past week and whether or not you were pleased.

On Saturday, I went with a group of Summer Savoyards friends to RiverRead Books in Binghamton, where we remembered and honored Lilo Reese with readings from her (posthumously published) autobiography and a song from Hansel & Gretel, and Peter Reese with songs from Gilbert & Sullivan, which he loved performing. A bit wistful, remembering friends who are gone. Of course, I don’t remember the name of the book; to us, it was “Lilo’s book.” But RiverRead has copies, and the proceeds are going to charities.
