I felt art-full this past week; did you?

Had a wonderful time (as always) at Colorscape in Norwich, enjoying both the visual and performing arts. There aren’t many places where you can say you listened to Aztec Two-Step while watching a 96-year-old woman (!) making a pine needle basket. I had hoped to round out my Chenango County “tour de art” with one of the final performances of “The Marvelous Wonderettes,” but … hooray for them! boo hoo for me … Chenango River Theatre was sold out all weekend.
How about you? Were you art-filled this past week?

I had wanted to take my daughter to see the “Wonderettes” show as well. It was sold out and, frankly I did not get a great vibe from the voice on the phone message. (I only wanted to know if there was a way to wait and see if there were “no-shows” available.) However, I feel that the gentleman on the line could “sweeten” up a bit. I felt either ridiculed or scolded. 😦 Bad customer service. And I lost interest in trying to procure tickets due to the perceived rudeness.
We ended up going to the Cinema Saver and then Consol’s. Two amazing experiences and a great treat for a family outing that was well within my budget.
And to make up for missing live theater last week, we are attending “Jekyll and Hyde” this weekend!! My daughter is 8 and I warned her it might be scary and she said, “It better be”. LOL
