I didn’t do much this weekend, but I had a great time at “The Hungry Ear” yesterday, at the Broome County Public Library – I got to see two very talented actors read very funny Irish short stories. The Hungry Ear happens every month at the library. Each month has a different theme, but it’s always free.
And speaking of free literary events, this Friday is First Friday, and the KNOW Theatre will be hosting artwork and performances as usual, starting at 6pm. There’ll be poetry by Sue Stamato and a play by Jim Micali, performed by Mickey Ray. I may even get up and read some of my work during the open mic portion of the evening – and I hope other local writers will do the same.
